6:01pm @joshuamarch creates @twitorfit and suggested pulling details via replies

6:04pm @Bandrew registers the domain.. All we need now is a spec!
7:00pm @BobfromHuddle starts playing with early alpha
Next morning: @huddlesuz, @nickhalstead, @BobfromHuddle; @Bandrew and @joshuamarch redefine the spec
Saturday: @jjenzz designs the logo and look and feel.
Sunday: @nickhalstead’s designer puts finishing touches to the Twitorfit blog
Monday: @stut and @dtsn from fav.or.it start the app development…

As if you needed an excuse to attend next Monday’s Twinterval but we’re hoping to make the evening even more memorable with some totally awesome TwitOrFit merchandise that we’ll be giving away to you, loyal tweeple.

I’d love to say more but, yannow, we want it to be a surprise and stuff. The suspense is killing me!

It is the question on everyone’s lips… Just what the deuce is twitorfit.com? Something to do with weightloss? Nah. Maybe a new kind of nanoblogging exercise tracker? Nao. We’d love to hear what you think it might be and what you’d love it to do.

We have finished mucking around making changes to TwitOrFit and now need to start testing with a small group of BETA testers ahead of the full launch on the 15th December at twinterval.

To become a BETA tester it is as simple as leaving a comment on this post. The first 75 150 to do so we will be emailed with details of how to access the BETA site. (make sure you give a valid email address - it will not be displayed or re-used for any other purpose other than to email you with details of the BETA.)

UPDATE: Ok, too many men! everyone up to ‘Robin Grant’ (66th) - will be invited - but from now on only accepting Female testers.

UPDATE 2: We have moved BETA invites now to a Google Group which is easier to manage - so if you want an invite then apply to join the group.
